I wasn't expecting to do any inventory on the wing kit today, but managed to get into the garage and get at it. The paper used in the packaging of this kit is pretty impressive.
After unwrapping everything, it was sorted and then the hardware bag was brought into the house. Hard to believe so much can be packed into such a small crate.
Spent a lot of time inventorying the hardware, labeling the pullouts (ran out of tape, hence the masking tape, which I will fix) and putting everything away. My daughter Lauren was busy helping with the labels and is taking an interest in the project now...can't wait to have her helping me with project.
I'm going to mount the longeron/spar box on the wall to keep the longerons stored there. The larger box will be broken down and reused. Have to find a new home for the horizontal stab.
Only missing 12 K1100-08 nutplates from bag 1922-1. Pretty impressive. I sent an email off to Barb so that those can be sent along.
I'll soon mount the last wing stand into the concrete once I get the other rafter storage area completed.
